Steps
Step 1 of 7
Have your Bridge account ready
This path starts in HubSpot and ends in your Bridge account.
This path is for when you discover Bridge in the HubSpot App Marketplace and want to install it directly from there. To complete it you need a Bridge account: if you do not have one yet, sign up at bridge.new before you start the installation. In HubSpot you need Super Admin permission or a user with OAuth authorization rights.
- You need a Bridge account
- No account: sign up at bridge.new
- In HubSpot: Super Admin or OAuth rights
Step 2 of 7
Install Bridge from the Marketplace
Bridge is installed from its Marketplace listing.
In HubSpot, find Bridge in the App Marketplace and open its listing. On the Bridge listing, click Install app. HubSpot then shows the authorization screen for Bridge.
- Find Bridge in the App Marketplace
- On its listing, click Install app
Step 3 of 7
Review the permissions
HubSpot shows what Bridge will be able to see and do.
HubSpot shows the scope approval screen with the permissions Bridge requests; Bridge appears with its official name and logo. The permissions include viewing and managing CRM data, such as contacts, companies, deals and their properties, and basic HubSpot account information: the user’s email address and the account’s primary domain.
- Manage and view your CRM data
- Basic HubSpot account information
Step 4 of 7
Authorize with Connect app
Once you authorize, HubSpot sends you to Bridge.
Check the box that confirms you agree to the app’s terms and privacy policy, and click Connect app. HubSpot redirects you to the Bridge login page.
- Agree to the terms and privacy policy
- Click Connect app
Step 5 of 7
Log in to Bridge
Bridge identifies your account with your credentials.
On the Bridge login page, log in with your existing Bridge account credentials. Once you log in, Bridge takes you to the CRM section of the console, under Connections › CRM.
- The Bridge login page opens
- Use your Bridge account credentials
Step 6 of 7
Check the connection in CRM
The console opens with the connection already active.
After you log in, Bridge opens the CRM section with the HubSpot connection already established. The page confirms it with the message The provider HubSpot is currently connected and shows the Overview, Activities, Contacts, Deals, Pipelines and Duplicate Contact Handling tabs.
- The provider HubSpot is currently connected
- Six tabs appear
Step 7 of 7
Continue with field mapping
The last part of the install: matching the fields.
Continue with the Field mapping step of the setup, where you match HubSpot fields with Bridge attributes. Bridge suggests a mapping based on standard HubSpot property names. To review it and finish the sync, follow the guide Choose the sync and map the fields.
- Bridge suggests the field mapping
- Next guide: map the fields
